1. Move your mouse to 'D.A.D. Tests' found on the menu bar near the top of the screen. A white option-box will drop down. Click on 'Register to Take Test'.
2. A window will open showing the titles of the current D.A.D. tests available to take online. Click on 'more info or register' to the right of the test you wish to take.
3. The test title should appear on this screen. Answer the two yes-no questions found to the left of the 'Register' button. Click 'Register' once the questions have been answered.
4. Click 'checkout' on the 'Items you have selected' screen.
5. Now, we need to know who is taking the test. At this point you will need to log in.
- If you are a returning NSS-NRS customer and already have an account, enter your username and password and click 'log in.'
- If you do not have an existing account, you will need to create one. It takes but a few moments. Click 'Create New Account' and fill in the information fields. Click 'continue' after all information has been entered.
6. Once you've logged in or created your new account you will see the 'Checkout - Place Order' screen. Review the information to verify it is correct and then click 'Place Order.' Note: there is no charge for taking D.A.D. tests online.

7. After placing your order, you will now see the 'Checkout - Thank You' screen. Your registration is complete. The link to your test has now been added to the original drop box under 'D.A.D. Tests.' Click on the test link to begin. (Since there is no charge to take this test, disregard any payment requests on the 'Checkout - Thank You' screen.)
8. Click the 'Take Test' link on this 'Overview' screen to begin your test.
9. Answer each question, then click 'continue' when you are finished. Your test is scored immediately. Remember, you must score 80% or higher to receive credit for this test. You are allowed to take the test again should you receive a score less than 80%.
If you received a score of less than 80% and:
a) you would like to re-test immediately, click the 'Test' link in the bottom right corner of the 'Results' screen. The test screen will open again.

b) you would like to review the material and re-test at a later time, begin re-testing by clicking the 'log in' button in the 'your info' window at the top left of the screen. Enter your username and password and click 'Log in.' Then click the 'View' button next to your test title. Finally, click 'Take Test.'
10. Upon successful completion of the test (score>80%), click 'continue' on the bottom of the 'Results' screen.
11. Complete the short course evaluation and click 'continue.'
12. You will now see the course 'Overview' screen. Click the 'certificate' link to open a printable screen displaying a certificate of completion.
